The Girl Nobody Wanted

Anna Constantinides is the jilted bride, left almost at the altar by her longtime (I'd say more like lifetime) fiancee Prince Alessandro. She has been publicly humiliated by the press with everything that happened. But she has to act with decorum and protocol, and show up at his engagement party to Allegra, the woman that he left her for without the decency of letting her know that he was breaking the engagement. Leo Jackson is a playboy and Allegra's brother. During the engagement party he sees Anna and he is intrigued by her. He thinks that she needs to relax and let her hair down, literally, and that he would be the best person to do it. While Anna worries about everything that the press, gossip magazines and tabloids will say, Leo has no care what-so-ever for them. He has lived with every scandal that his father involves himself in since he went to live with him at the age of ten, and thinks that the best way to get rid of them is to ignore them.
Although I loved the story line, I do have to agree that Anna seems a little spoiled. But I thinks it had more to do with the fact that she didn't know how to act and be normal. She was raised to be a queen and now that she will no longer be one, she doesn't know what she is supposed to do with her life. She doesn't know how to be or act like anything else, which makes everything more dramatic for her. Then her one act of rebellion with Leo lead to consequences she doesn't expect. Her first thought is about preventing scandal and any embarrassment to her family and the Santina's. You have to read this story if you want to know how Anna conquers this playboy's heart and how he helps her become her own person.
